Standing and not moving at all
for 5 minutes in the hallway of CHMSC-Talisay campus was fun, but also it was a
bit embarrassing. People looking at you with their raised eyebrows and
distorted faces and murmuring things like, “May ano?” and “Na-ano ni sila man?”
was kind of weird on our part.
We
felt weird, well, because we are not used by it. We are not used of people
looking at us like we are some aliens from another world with strange horns
sticking out in our head or the color of our skin were green. But
because of this activity, we have felt what deviant people felt when people
look at them or talk about them. It is actually not nice to be seen by the
people as weird at all. It makes you feel embarrassed and small.
And
lastly, for us, we are now aware about the feelings of deviant people. We are
now much sensitive for them. Maybe someday, deviant people will be accepted in
the society.
